Aesthetic dental restoration in Ivano-Frankivsk
During a first meeting, 80% of people initially focus on the mouth and teeth. Beautiful teeth symbolize vitality, youth, health, charisma, quality of life, and confidence. Preserving and restoring dental aesthetics has become a fundamental part of modern dentistry.
Our goal is to give you a naturally beautiful smile! We can achieve this through aesthetic dental restoration in Ivano-Frankivsk. With our experience and expertise, we offer you the best possible solutions to help you achieve the perfect smile.
What is aesthetic dental restoration?
- Direct method. Composite veneering or restoration, or modification of a tooth using composite material. This type of restoration is completed in one visit and does not require referral to a dental laboratory.
- Indirect method. Restoration using ceramic veneers, overlays, or crowns. This method requires preliminary preparation by the dentist and the taking of a digital impression, which is then sent to a dental laboratory where veneers are made using digital technology and specialized ceramics.
Tooth restoration with composite materials
In our practice, we use artistic dental restoration with two methods. The first method is significantly more popular, so let’s focus on it in more detail — that is, tooth restoration with composite materials.
Once you sit in the chair of our artist, you can be confident that your restoration will be done to the highest standard:
- Dental Microscope.
- Isolation of the working field using a rubber dam.
- The most advanced next-generation composite materials.
All of this is the key to a successful restoration performed by a dental artist. However, what’s also extremely important is the skill, expertise, and creative approach. In reality, it’s not easy to reproduce a tooth with all its anatomical features, including the contours and convexity of the walls of molars, or the translucent cutting edge of incisors. Additionally, it’s crucial to remember that when restoring a single tooth, it must blend seamlessly with the rest of the dental arch and match the neighboring teeth. Furthermore, few people realize that selecting the right shade of composite material requires significant skill, as the tooth tissue dries out and lightens during treatment. Once the procedure is completed, the teeth are rehydrated with saliva and change color. Often, for the perfect result, the dentist will use a combination of several shades of composite material and specialized paints for the cervical area or fissures.
When extensive restoration is needed, such as for multiple teeth, we rely on cutting-edge digital modeling technology. We start by capturing a detailed digital scan of your mouth with the state-of-the-art Primescan intraoral scanner by Dentsply Sirona. This scan is sent to our dental lab, where our technician designs a 3D model of your new smile using advanced digital software. The design process also takes into account your facial features and bite alignment. The next step is printing the model with a 3D printer, which allows you to preview and approve your future smile before any work begins. Finally, the 3D model is used by our expert restorative dentist, who creates a silicone template to craft your ideal, natural-looking smile.
Artistic restoration with composite materials requires exceptional skill and expertise. Not every clinic has the right professionals or the advanced technology needed for this delicate work. At Masych Clinic, we’re proud to have an experienced specialist on our team who has focused exclusively on this area of dentistry for many years and trains other dentists in his methods.
